King Abdullah Financial District Development and Management Company (KAFD-DMC) and Huawei, one of the global ICT leaders, have made an exciting announcement to launch Saudi Arabia’s first Smart Wifi-7 network. This initiative aims to boost digital infrastructure, smart services, and connectivity within Riyadh’s financial district for residents, visitors, and tenants. 

The collaboration will reinforce KAFD’s position as one of the leading global smart cities and as a pioneer in integrating cutting-edge urban technologies. 

The KAFD Smart City Platform has been leveraging artificial intelligence and data analysis as an integral part of the project. The launch of Wifi-7 will further enhance these initiatives by providing integrated digital services, optimising data usage, and strengthening KAFD’s status as a leading innovation hub in the Middle East.
